Bhagwan Mahavir or the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary offer incredible opportunities for night birding, with a variety of nocturnal species found in the dense semi-evergreen and riparian forests. These areas are home to elusive night birds such as the Sri Lanka Frogmouth, Jerdon's Nightjar, Jungle Nightjar, Brown Fish Owl, Brown Wood Owl, and Oriental Scops Owl. Our trained and experienced naturalists will guide you to the best spots and assist with identifying these fascinating nocturnal birds.
